UGSOA would like to congratulate Dennis King and Myke Hurl both members of Local 206 in Battle Creek, MI on their recent retirements!
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dennis King - Member Local 206 - Battle Creek, MI - DHS Contract - Retired September 22, 2017 after more than 11 years as a PSO. Dennis had served in the Army and was a member of the Army National Band. Prior being a PSO, Dennis was a Portage Police Officer for 32 years. Dennis started in August 2006 working at the HDI Building eventually transferring to the Benton Harbor SSA. He served as Secretary of Local 206. Dennis is enjoying his retirement doing hobbies and spending quality time with his wife Karin. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Myke Hurl - Memeber of Local 206 - Battle Creek, MI - DHS Contract - Retired March 8, 2018 after nearly 10 years working as a PSO. Myke was in the US Air Force as a Medic 1960 - 1967. Joined Lansing Fire Department as a paramedic for five years then went to California to get his martial arts teaching instructors certificate. Myke held various supervisory and training positions with several security contractors that held the contract. Then accepted a position as a PSO on 8/16/08
