2024 - Total monetary award =
January 2024: We had a group grievance settled over vacation hours. A suspension reduced to a written warning.
Total Monetary Award: $4,590.73
February 2024: We have two arbitrations hearings scheduled for this month. Three arbitration dates selected for later in the year.
March 2024: We have one arbitration hearing scheduled for this month.
April 2024: 8hrs of sick time returned to an officer.

May2024: 8hrs returned to officer for underpayment of holiday pay. We won an arbitration hearing that removed discipline from multiple officers' personal files. One arbitration scheduled for this month.

June 2024: 3 Arbitration hearings scheduled for this month.
July 2024: We had an officer termination rescinded and returned to work with full benefits, seniority, and lost wages. An officer's lost wages was returned after his seniority was violated and missed an OT shift.

August 2024: We had a terminated officer reinstated with full benefits, seniority and back pay. We had a discipline removed from personnel file. We had a few arbitrations scheduled for later in the year.

January 2023: We had a few grievances moved to arbitration.
February 2023: We had an officer's termination overturned with all his benefits and seniority.

March 2023: An officer's Health and Welfare fund was corrected. Officers to be reimbursed for covid tests. We have a group of officers who will be reimbursed for 3yrs of not being paid at armed rate. Our attorneys an arbitrator are working on implementation of the remedy.

April 2023: We had an officers 3-day suspension removed. We presently have 9 arbitrations scheduled.

May 2023: We had an officer who was terminated Immediately reinstated. Discipline removed from personal file.
Made whole for all lost wages, benefits, seniority, and other perquisites retroactive to the date of termination.

August 2023: After a year of challenges and dragging their feet, we got the company to return an officer to work with full seniority, benefits and lost wages. We had another officer who was terminated returned to work.

March 2022: We had a termination reduced to 2-week suspension. A termination reduced to a Voluntary Resignation. An officer who was terminated reinstated with full benefits and seniority. A suspension removed.
